mojoblog still kicking, though softly

Development point release dates for mojoblog have come and gone by rather unseripticiously since January. It’s not that I’ve not been working on the latest CVS, I have but.. There’s been a rather generous amount of paid development projects in the interim and so the development and release of mojoblog XXX has been backburnered till I could catch up enough to take same time off and reconcentrate on mojo.

I’ve just had enough time last week to pick back up (refresh my memory of where i was when i broke away from mojoblog/joomla dev) and am in the process of moving mojo project data over to my new workstation so, hopefully.. Once I get back up to speed I’ll get the latest stable iteration online for public download.

mojoBlog 0.17 to be the final stand-alone release

Towards the end of January 2009 I’ll be releasing mojoblog 0.17 which, by all current indications, will most likely be the final stand-alone release as an “installable” component for the soon to be deprecated joomla 1.0.15(legacy)CMS.

End of mojoBlog Development?

No, quite the contrary. Development is continuing at a steady pace with a poc (proof of concept) version of mojoblog nicely bundled into a near release of a8e.

I’ll post more complete details of our transition after the holidays both here and on the main support site joomlify.

Happy Holidays.

mojoblog export plugin

Though I’m still working on getting mojoblog 0.17 ready for public release I’ve been able to push through and finish up a new export plugin for mojoblog users who want to either migrate their existing mojoblog posts over to a stand-alone Wordpress installation -or- more’s the case, update their soon to be installation of mojoblog 0.17 with all their older posts, comments, categories and custom fields.
